On the Western Kick!

Yeehaw kids! The Western kick is here to stay for another season so keep those Navajo prints and the fringe out for fall (but please, keep those mugluks in storage – footwear is more focused on fringed leather boots a la Isabel Marant).  Shearling coats and Navajo inspired knits were the favored outerwear paired with cozy oversized scarves and FUR FUR FUR everywhere.  Isabel Marant gave the trend an upscale, downtown edge in neutral tones mixed with denim, while Proenza Schouler went all out with colorful patterns blended with patterned knitted sweaters. For men, we loved Pendleton’s Portland Collection. Their subdued brown neutrals were the perfect canvas for plaid pants, Navajo inspired cardigans, and exquisite fringed scarves. Pants were tailored skinnies paired with perfectly worn-in laced boots.

Animal materials are still prevalent in fashion and these vintage Emmanuelle Khanh sunglasses from the Kings of Past Collection are one of our top picks!

Titanium is light-weight and functional, but it doesn’t have to be boring. Entourage of  7′s “El Segunda” is perfect for this season’s burnt shades of brown and orange.
