As you may or may not know Entourage of 7 is the story about Rikke and Jakob Talbo, co-founders of the famed frame company.  After a decade working for industry leaders, in 2004 the native Danes moved to Los Angeles destined to live out their vision of creating their own luxury eyewear label.   Influenced by the Danish design masters of the 50’s – 60’s and the LA way of life, the designs have transcended into a clean but laid back style.  All Entourage of 7 frames are made in Japan using only the best materials such as beta titanium and Japanese zyl acetates. Come by Gafas today to try on a pair of PCH’s or any of the amazing Entourage of 7 frames we have in our store!

AM EYEWEAR IS VINTAGE REDEFINED

Posted on March 10th, 2012 by admin  |  Comments Off

AM Eyewear Shieldsy Black – Handcrafted Italian acetate frame French Comotech spring-loaded hinges Italian Military grade APX Nylon lenses with anti reflective coating and a UV protection of 400 nanometers.

From its inception eight years ago AM Eyewear has evolved from a cheeky young upstart into a cult brand respected around the globe. Each new collection is reflective of Simon Ponnusamy’s (AM’s Designer and Director) many sources of inspiration. From his fast-paced life traveling and mingling with some of the worlds biggest rock stars to his mother’s collection of vintage sunglasses and photos from her days in the fashion industry. The evolution of each AM Eyewear frame continues well beyond the workshop. Once out of the box the Italian acetate frames mold to the wearers face – much in the same way as a bespoke pair of leather boots.

Simon Ponnusamy – “They are designed by hand, crafted by hand, polished by hand. They are packed by hand and they are only ever complete once you have worn them.”
