We had a blast with our friends and clients last night for The Summer Pop-Up Shop here @ Gafas. And how could we have not? We were surrounded by people we care about, listening to good tunes courtesy of Katiya’s IPod, sippin’ Vitamin Water courtesy of the company who were kind enough to sponsor the event, and supporting up-and-coming local designers.
Everyone was going wild for the high-end, earthy jewellery line from Designs By Katiya…
…and the wonderful ready-to-wear head gear collection from Banoo By MeSa…
We were super excited to be the venue for Banoo’s first public appearence. Stay tuned for their launch… it’s going to be a must-attend event!
And our clients, both old and new were super excited about our 25% Off Sale. As many of you know, we only do sales on Boxing Day so getting an opportunity like this is monumental. It might be August already (man, that happened quick) but there’s still a lotta summer left and in celebration of this we are holding a fun-filled night of fashion. We will be hosting a pop-up shop at Gafas on August 11 and its going to be an evening dedicated to essential accessories. The crew here at the shop will be joined by Katiya (outstanding jewellery) and Banoo by MeSa (a fantastic line of chic chapeaus).
Designs by Katiya was created in 2009 by Katiya as another outlet to express her boundless creativity. With a strong background in fashion, it comes as no surprise that her collection evokes a sophisticated elegance that is rarely seen in labels so young. “The line embodies quality and luxury made from materials like silver, gold, bronze, organic wood, recycled wood, and gemstones such as jasper, black onyx, lava rock, natural corals and turquoise.”
Banoo by Mesa is designed by creative duo Mehrnoush Zomederis and Sahar Talebi who push the design envelop with their unique handcrafted hats. The two-some challenge the boundaries of orthodox design to create pieces that empower woman and celebrate femininity.
